On all white kitchen appliances I hold seen, the white plastic parts (handles, fascias, panels) other seem to fade to a disgusting pallid over a period of 5+ years.
Are you seriously unfolding me that appliance manufacturers haven't cracked the art of keeping their plastics white?
Is it basically the case that they're made this process to encourage us to buy a up to date fridge/dishwasher/whatever when the old one starts to look a bit prehistoric?
Answers: If you scrape it, it will probably still look white underneath the surface. Average everday oxidation, UV exposure, volatile polymers disappearing a microscopically cracked surface, and dirty hands are your answers. Everybody is right(except for the Japan thing(I think)).
I don`t know it's our hands?
the oil and the grease in our hand are making it like that, i suppose.
