I know I can kill the D and remove the bulb but it's in the prime living area ie needed (just unnecessary 24/7). Any advice?
Thanks.
Answers: If your night light switch is a standard wall switch,
it is probably a snap acting single pole leviton switch and the spring inside the switch has be worn and will not quite manage that point of pivot sometimes.
You need a unusual switch installed. It is about two to three dollars at the local hardware or super hardwar stores. Most handy men can chane it out contained by 5 min. but be sure he is handy and be sure to be safe and turn the breaker to that circuit past its sell-by date first while doing the job.
discouraging switch, call an electrician and hold it replaced before you hold an electrical fire.
