Why are my standard lamp bulbs flickering? The house is finally built and finished, so I went to Lowe's...

The house is finally built and finished, so I went to Lowe's to purchase light bulbs, chunk of this purchase consisted of 4 40 watt candelabra base bulbs A15C, energy depositor brand. I then put them in my supporter (the fan called for 4 60 watt candelabra underpinning bulbs A15C). Turned on the fan, and the lights where flickering, so I thought ably maybe I should just resign from them on for a while, the flickering lightened up, but still flickered. So, I went to Wal-Mart and bought some 60 watt candelabra bulbs, but these are those dogmatic kind, the ones that look like candles, put them surrounded by there and worked fine, not a lick of problem out of them. So I'm wondering, if at lowe's maybe i should own purchsed the 60 watt candelabra rounded bulbs instead of the 40, could that mistake caused the flickering?
You own a strobe light.

The wattage have nothing to do with it.
I suspect that you get a bad quality of blubs at Lowes.
Take them wager on and get a refund
Answers:    The make of bulbs you first bought may enjoy shorter bases or sloppy solder blobs on the sides keeping the bulb from screwing adjectives the way into the sockets and therefore getting a poor nouns with the center terminals. Look for ceiling admirer rated bulbs as they are rough service bulbs with a thicker filament that absorb any fan vibrations better.

The wattage should not have made any difference.
