Answers:    If you enjoy electric heat you hold to move the yellow flex but if you have gas you dont obligation to. Moving that wire make the fan come on right away for electric steam. Te thermostat is already set up for gas heat.no obligation to make change unless you have 2 transformers which I doubt you own. You didn't give out satisfactory info. I am just guessing.
