can you please tell me which is the best portable air conditioner that you guys bought and have actually made your room cold
I just now bought an Amana window shaker for $99. It's quiet, works great, and is cooling in the order of 150 Sq Ft.It doesn't have heat, but for 100.00, it's a appropriate deal. i was purely actually about to look that up omg ha ha ha lol anyways if you can permit me know when you find one cuz im tired of being hot and sticky! yuk
Look at Sear's air conditioners to start with, but nearby are many good brands.
If it is for one room such as a bedroom, you will not have need of a large A/C.
A/C are not cheap this time of year.
Have it serviced each year contained by April or May so that it will be ready for the summer months. Some times they need to own freon added as they get older.

Any one next to a single duct is expelling air from the room and will have to be made up by puling nouns from other rooms and ultimately from outside infiltration.
The ones with two ducts will draw outside air within to cool the condenser and discharge it back out without removing nouns from the room.
