Where do you give starting fluid surrounded by the choke of a sward mower.?
I am a small engine mechanic and would support you to NOT use starting fluid because it burns to hot, I would use a carb cleaner or wd-40. Just take the atmosphere cleaner off and make available a couple short sprays in to the carb. This will work and you will not do any harmed to your lawn mower.
On some mowers you might enjoy a hard time finding this, beside all the plastic moulding, but what you want to do is remove the heavens filter, and spray a little fluid (as directed on the can) into the intake. When you verbs the cord or twist the push button, it should start.
Don't use too much, or you will get backfire and it probably wont start due to flooding via the fluid.
Also, I wouldn't spray "through" the air filter because if a backfire occur, and the filter is full of fluid, you will probably have a lawnmower that is to say running, but on fire.
Answers: I take the spark plug out and put a teaspoon of gas surrounded by the hole. Don't do this on a hot engine. Only safe if it's cold.
