Where can u find a fastener grinder approaching the one as see on tv for dogs?

you can go to www.peticure.com and writ one from there, i will in the subsequent couple of weeks. good luck

My wife be thinking about getting one of those for our dogs. I suggested the dremel tool with the flex shaft attachment and a sand drum. The sanding drums are what the tv model uses also. The dremel works great for her. You have honest control and the noise is away from the animals. Plus, we already had the tool and didn't enjoy to buy another power tool. Go to their website. http://www.peticure.com

They have a special patented head that will not work on a run of the mill dremmel tool or grinder. They have 2 models. the lesser expensive one is right for small to medium dogs.but not that good on larger dogs. I enjoy one and my dog loves it. I do her nails every other day to aid shorten them to desired length at first.then once a week after that
Answers:    I know about a dozen dog breeders and two have tried the Peticure... both of 'em threw it out.

All my dog breeder friends swear by a Dremmel rotary directory... you can buy the name brand one at any big box home improvement store, or a knock stale (Wal-Mart's is only $18).

You'll have to break your dog into the process of have his/her nails filed --use treats, affection and lotsa choral praise-- and you probably won't be able to file 'em adjectives in the first couple of sessions. But over time and making sure you make every session fun, comforting and relieved... your pet will get used to it and might even look forward to it. :-)

Hope this helps,
