I have an iron fence contained by my backyard. The stakes are about 6 feet high and are hollow so a lot of rust has accumulate on the inside. How can I fix or prevent this? I thought getting some caps to cover up the holes should be enough by preventing rainfall water from getting inside, but I dont know where to purchase them cheaply.
Answers: I would stop contained by at Home Depot or Lowes and tell them what you have. They may own little rubber caps you can put over the top. Another good impression is if you know the manufacturer of the fencing, contact them and explain the problem. They may have of late what you need. Otherwise there isn't much contained by the way of a good enduring fix that I can think of.
