I have a UPVC backdoor with chalice panels at the top and bottom. I need to replace the bottom panel so I can enjoy a cat flap installed.

I have had a snatched look on google searches but can't seem to find anything (probably not typing the right survey words). Either a blank bottom panel would be good or one with a flap already contained by.

oh and do they come in a standard size or do i need to weigh up up?

you can buy these panel from any plastic window companies ...they all provide them ..they will cut them to size ..and most have fitters who will fit it for a few bob ..its a simple job and he will be gone surrounded by ten minutes !

You need to measure up, afterwards go to a manufacturer and they will clear one for you. Lots of small businesses will do this.

Look up DGS within your local phone book, Double Glazing Supplies a Flat panel will cost about lb30, you will also get a cat flap near. You will need to know the size of the panel ie 20, 24, or 28 mm then only cut it to size, cut out for the cat flap, job done

Any glazier / window fitter should know how to do it. The frames are made to measure but possibly the panels are like peas in a pod size from the same manufacturer. You should be capable of find lots of window firms on yell.com

Answers:    A double-glazing supplier should be able to provide a new panel. The size of the cup MAY be printed on the internal gasket of the existing glass panel. Have a good look.
