What's wrong beside my outlet? The outlet in the bathroom works intermittently. It may work...
The outlet in the bathroom works intermittently. It may work for a few months, afterwards it won't work for a few months. It's not the breaker as other bathroom electrical connections work fine and are on the same breaker. I've also replaced the outlet. Could it be electric wiring in the walls? This is probably a minor DIY chore but I am not sure where to look subsequent. Any ideas? THANKS !!
Answers: As most bathroom outlets are required to be on a ground quirk breaker it does sound close to the ground fault is tripping contained by. Check to see if the outlet itself is aground fault outlet. These hold a red re-set button which pops out if the circuit has be overloaded. Pushing the re-set button back within restores the current. This may not be your problem, but if it is it is a simple fix.
you will have to shut the power sour.. the outlet is in parallel beside another outlet the problem is the outlet where the nouns is is intermittant.. you have to find the outlets close at hand this .take it apart and restrip the wires and them this will correct the condition. ok.
