I have in recent times replaced a low voltage lighting tract with a mians voltage one. The unmarked lights are 4 x 50w, the old ones be 4 x 20w. All the lights in my flat *** up to below 700w, but here are 2 extractor fans (bathroom and kitchen) as resourcefully. Am I still within the edges of the wattage for the lighting ring?
Answers: You are well in. The extract fans draw a minimum of current and the lighting cable is rate at 5 amps. The current taken by the lights is approx 0.85amp per set but as it is on a ring system then you are OK. Up to 5amps is OK. Even next the lighting cables are rate actually better. Just make sure that adjectives areas are fused at a max of 3 amps.
