It sounds machanical...and of course never make the noise when I'm watching it..just when I seem to be surrounded by another room.
Answers: On top of your furnace is a unit call a pluntum. This will heat up and expain when melt air from the furnace is directed to differant rooms of the house. when the blower motor shuts sour the pluntum will quickly return to its commonplace postition. This will make a loud hubbub you are hearing. Don't madness..this is normal and won't make happen problems.
Very little info here, how old is this part, Nat. gas, LP, fuel oil, located where on earth???/ If this unit have a large blower it's possible that one or both bearing of the squirrel cage follower have worn to the point where on earth the fan is in reality moving up and down inside them. It's also possible that the motor driving the fan is loose, moving around, the belt may be impossible, the pulley could be coming off the extremity of the shaft of the motor, etc., etc. Someone will need to lug the panel off the nouns of the blower and watch what go on when it runs through a cycle.
