What type of hose oven is best? We just purchased a house that needs a unmarked hot water tank...
We just purchased a house that needs a unmarked hot water tank min. 60 gallon (as it have a huge double tube). Are waterless tanks a good model - apparantly they heat the water as and when you obligation it?
Thanks
I've never used a tankless heater, but I believe the concept is great. They are quite expensive compared to a standard water boiler and generally require high installation costs.
My recommend (what I will do for my next house), if your going to live in the house for abundant years to come I would consider getting the tankless water heater. It will be more expensive at first but will clear for its self in a few years.
If you plan to only live within the house for a couple years I would go with a standard river tank.
Hope this helps.
I wonder just about the "cost savings". If you live somewhere where you do a lot of cooling, I suppose at hand is a savings.
But imo, yes keeping a tank full of hot hose down all the time will result in some grill loss and cost. BUT if you are heating the house, that heat of late goes in to the house so where on earth is the loss? It is heat you need. So I lift the "energy savings" with a particle of salt.
But if you air condition the house for partially the year then I think they are a better perception. Then it saves on a/c and truely is a benefit.
You didn't say if the existing is gas. All the "on demand" type heaters I own seen are gas. I question because converting add a lot of cost.
Good Luck.
Answers: If you have natural gas or propane next a tankless water heater is a great process to go. The down side is it will cost you around 3 times what a regular water heating system will cost. The plus side is that they last for 20 years and in a few years you will get better your costs. I recently had one put surrounded by my lake house and love it. You only salary for the use of it when you have your hot water on. You wont hold to worry about dampen damage from a regular water heating system leaking in give or take a few 7 years when you need a new one. I have a plumber install mine, but in the process I found out that gas companies also install these tankless units, so you can shop around for the best price. The gas companies tend to be cheaper. Good luck.
I replaced a hot hose hester with an electric tankless heater. You will see a money on your electric bill with the tankless. Cost for the heaters are about like. The tankless heater will need a bigger breaker and electrical electric wiring to it. Will pay for itself in the long run, also plenty of hot wet.
