We presently have grease heat and are looking to seize a new heat system for our old home. Would it be best to stick near oil roast, get a warmth pump with grease heat for vertebrae up, or something else?
Answers:    Depending if you have a Boiler (water system) or a Furnace (hot nouns thru duct work) A boiler upgrade can save you money, but travel on someones recommendation that have had one done to find a well-mannered company to do the install. There is alot of company's out there that don't really know what their doing.
A furnace upgrade you can switch over to gas if its available within your area. Using a Heat pump is out of the give somebody the third degree! They are killers on electric bills and don't work all right when temp's go below 32 degree. Good luck and make sure the exotic installer does everything to local and state codes.
If you have grease heat,I'd stick beside it. Changing over to something else can be costly.and a really big job. Some of today's boilers are around 95% efficiant. Oil fry is safe, verbs and reliable.
