What should i do in the order of this mold problem?? at least i infer it is mold. My landlord have been over...

at least i infer it is mold. My landlord have been over here and looked at it and said that it be fine, but there is demonstrably visible river damage to baseboards and other parts of the bathroom. The pics are of the baseboards surrounded by the bathroom and the floor in the kitchen where on earth the water is coming underneath the wall. Are the walls gonna have to be torn out to fix this kindly of problem???? I f so i don't really want to move in here.

I vote for finding another apartment. There's comprehensible water vandalize that has bubbled paint, perverted the wood, stained the floor and messed up the caulking. This doesn't happen surrounded by an isolated incident. That floor, baseboard and wall is exposed to water recurrently. Look for another place where the hotelier cares in the order of you and his property.

Can't attain to pics when I clicked on the links. So can't tell if nearby is mold.

If there is marked water disfavour, make sure you purloin dated photos to document it was here when you moved in, if you want to. And consider, if it is mold, if you want to live somewhere where they give the brush-off such a health risk (which might be effortlessly abated near a dilute bleach solution). Or ask for a significant discount for it not being cleaned properly.
Answers:    The pictures don't appear to show any mold; HOWEVER, my concerns would be give or take a few what is under the paint that you cannot see. Additionally, it appears that the river level be above the top of the baseboard which would mean that the drywall would've be wet.

Mold sets surrounded by within 24 to 48 hours unless the sea is dryed completely out AND a fungas/ mold killing agent be applied to the surface of wet areas such as walls, wood etc...

Ask the innkeeper who he had (probably no one) to professionally remedy the river issue when it happened and exactly what steps and precautions be done.

The paint is most likely blistering because a primer was unacquainted before the paint.

Also, one of your best indicators that wet damage occured due to sitting marine over several days is the color change of the wood floors. Wood floors rework only near severe standing water or animal urination.

I would site unfit conditions and concerns and would set off looking for another place if at all possible. If the tenant cut corners on such an obvious problem, create in your mind where else corners be cut that you cannot see and that might pose serious safety concerns.

I would try to find another place to live. Be your own best fan becuase clearly, this landlord will not be!
