I keep the unit stored surrounded by my basement to avoid freezing temps. When I tried to use it today it would build up pressure until I pulle the trigger. For 1 second it would be a full power and the unit would not generate any more pressure.
Excell 2500 model.
Answers: I would check the pump. Have you be using it with low water pressure, or letting it run near no water turned on? I would think solitary holding pressure for 1 second would indicate worn pump valve or broken spring.

Possible the spring that controls the valve that allows pressure to build, consequently releases it may need to be replaced.
