i went out an bought a 28in door by mistake and am presently returning it but im not sure what size door to get the original door be 29 5/8th by 79 1/2 but i cant seem to find that door size anywhere so what size should i go near?

Answers:    You have an engineered prehung!
If the unit can be identified, a trial slab can be obtained through a distributor. This is a fairly standard size. The just problem is finding the correct machining pattern (hinge placement and bore location). You could possibly obtain an unmachined slab and do the work yourself. Or you could replace the together prehung, which may be easier.
