I mean the rope that goes underground between the electric meter of a house and the electric company nouns. Also what is the cost per foot of the conduit the wire go in? Does the electrician verbs a trench to bury the conduit after the wire is contained by it?

Answers:    I just did this second week!! It was rediculous.

I used 3/0 chain, and for the three leads (2 hot and 1 neutral) it run me $10.50 a foot. I dont know the codes where you are, but I have to bury mine 24 inches deep. Had to confer on the trench open for the inspector to verify.

Conduit probably cost me going on for $2 a foot by the time I bought all the stuff to be in motion with it.

If you are setting a meter remnant and disconnect, plan to spend another $400 or so.
