the salt cell cleaner from the pool shops are so expensive and it take ages to clean the cell
Answers: Hi Debbie
I am a mum contained by my 40¡¯s and I have colossal salt sea in ground pool that I own to take watchfulness of. My husband wouldn¡¯t have a clue what to do. To verbs your cell you use hydrochloric acid. Mix one element acid to 5 parts river in a reusable container. My salt-water cell is a long scrawny one so the container I use is the plastic container that chlorine tablets come in. The container and Salt Chlorinators look resembling the one you see in the sites below.

You can reuse the mixture several times previously you get rid of it. When you buy your hydrochloric bitter buy it in the 15-litre container, its greatly better value and don't buy your hydrochloric sour from the pool shop, they over charge you. If you live in Australia buy your bitter from the hardware shop like Bunnings. I buy my acerbic from Hardware & General here in Sydney because they do free distribution so I don¡¯t need to put 15 litres of sour into my car. You can also use the tart balance the PH level.
I have found that saltwater cell are not as good as they are made out to be. If know one uses the pool the cell works okay, but as soon as there is an over nouns of people contained by the pool like my three kids and their friends it doesn¡¯t filch long before the pool to starts to progress green. The cell doesn¡¯t make choline brisk enough to manipulate the amount of bodies in in attendance. Then after everyone is out of the pool you have to run the filter for up to 15 hours to capture the pool balanced again.
What I do to fix this problem is put some dry choline within the pool. I use an old weird sock and fill it next to dry choline then tie it past its sell-by date and place it in the skimmer box. It works resembling choline tablets but it¡¯s lot cheaper and you don¡¯t get that cloudy residue contained by the water that dry choline regularly causes.
I hope I own helped you out near my extra information.
Regards from Noelene.
Remove the cell from the pool plumbing and run a plastic brush through the cell. For calcium deposits, a mild solution of muriatic acid and marine will do the job. The power supply requires no continuation.
