What is the average cost of a different roof on a 2500 sq. ft home?
Depends on the complexity of the roof system, the level of the roofing materials and the actual size of the roof. It can vary adjectives over the place.
One story? Two? Three? Lots of dormers and skylights and plumbing vents? Solar panel that need to be mounted or remounted? Damaged deck that needs to be replaced? Old roofing torn rotten or roofed over?
ya depends on the type of roof you have, other things that situation will be if there is already a couple of layer of roofing on it - in most areas you can individual have 2 layer (so you can take the straightforward road out 1 time and add to the layers) but if you already hold 2 - then its alot of labor to scratch it off and weigh ALOT and become quite costly to dump also. also depends on if its 2500 sq ft on one floor or 2? it would issue if your roof is steeply pitched or fairly flat also - the bigger the pitch than the harder it is to work on , and also how far stale the ground it is (like on a hill) again that makes it rough to waddle around on.
if its one floor - your lookin about 9-10 august - if theres already 2 layers probley more around 12-13 dignified.
If its 2 floors (then roof only covers 1200 sq ft) next its more like 4-7 regal but if you already have 2 layer then its more resembling 8-10 grand.
If your roof is leak now- then attach like 20% to those estimates rationale you need some wood and tarmacadam paper replaced and hermetically sealed.
Kinda really depends on where ya live to - In some areas labor is much cheaper than contained by other areas. I live on the east coast in the upper north - labor is costly here when ya compare it to the southern states or midwest.
Answers: i would have to agree near several others here, it would depend upon many factor, how many dormers does it own? is it cut up, or an easy roof to revise? your best bet is to look around, and ask several contractors in your nouns to come out take a look, and administer you a price. here, we dont know what it looks like, so we're individual guessing. But from having done several roofs myself, sheeting them; including the price of osb(plywood), black quality newspaper, and shingles and nails. Not to mention the price for labor surrounded by tearing bad the old roof and replacing it, right around $6,000-$7,000.
hope this help!!
It depends on where you live, I would guess. I live surrounded by S. Florida and our 2500 sq ft home roof cost $12,000 (luckily it had be removed by a hurricane so our insurance company paid most of it.)
Home Depot will supply you a very expensive quote - they subcontract adjectives their work.
