I moved my 220 window unit and hucked it up to a 110 not knowing. Now it doesn't blow cold nouns. What happened and how do i fix it?
It sounds like it needs to be re-calibrated. Take it to a repair shop. It's broke.

I don't know how this could have be done. The outlets, plugs on a 110v are completely different then that of something requiring 220v.

Kinda doesn't make sense unless I'm missing something.

Most fanlight units are 110v not 220v

Now if you somehow the moons aligned on the 5th Sunday of the 13th month, you accidentally hooked the 110v into a 220v than I would say you hold ruined the entire unit.

Look at your clothes dryer's plug then look at you microwave or toaster; Big difference and just about as possible as the above mentioned lining of the moons..
Answers:    How could you hook it up to 110 when the plugs are entirely different?
no it still work 110v cannot damage your 220v unit fashion sure you are getting 220v and it should be ok How could that happen? There's no way a 220 plug will fit into a 110 outlet. Did you exchange the plug?
Does ur 220 vt have a reset button on the plug? If within is one u need to RESET it. 110 vt will not do damage to ur element. How did u get it to plug in? 220 vt.. hold their own designed plug. 220 v. will not work on a 110 vt plug. If u need to add a outlet to another glass. A electrician will add another outlet anywhere from $200-or more. how do you know you have 220 coming out from your vein, make sure you have 220 for sure, it should still working
biddable luck stay cool
