Answers: I'm not sure....but you know the railroad nails that hold the track on, i give attention to they are pure iron.. so you can find old ones lay next to the train tracks. if you are looking for a different genus try a hardware store, such as ace hardware or menards. if not try looking at ripened antique stores, some times they have things you never thought around!
I am not sure why you need pure iron..but I'm within Panama and have brought nail from the USA to use down here and they are wimpy compared to what you buy down here..The hardwoods like Nisporo are tremendously tough but the nails down here are terrifically strong..
