Answers: Well, most people would want whether it was worth working on. Any kiln over 5 years old might be better to replace. BUT, if WD40 or silicone doesn't work near some good sledge hammer tapping, consequently I've used my plumbers torch to add some steam to the element frontage and gotten it out. BE CAREFUL! WD40 is flammable and so is the insulation wrapped in your hose down heater.
I hold a question? why are you taking the heat element from a hose heater?Anyways, when you can budge and buy a new water-heater and distribute the old to trash, are you removing adjectives the copper wiring while your at it? It's not supposed to come sour, they make it so it doesnt.
