What do I use to pack contained by cracks on a woodstove can i use jb weld? ...
Yep, JB Weld works miracles. I used it on a truck radiator five years ago and it's still running strong.
I wouldn't use anything to riddle the cracks on a wood stove that I would be using. It probably wouldn't hold. Take the unit to a weld shop, for a small fee they will weld the crack.
So much of this depends on the metal content, the type of weld, etc. If you try something and, it separates while human being used, you could start your home on fire.
Answers: never used jb weld, but they make a fire proff cord that you can stuff the crack's with, but you'll hold to take the stove apart.
