I'm going to try to explain myself the best I can...Ok...When my furance turns on with the pilot, (like where on earth the flame is) ...it blows the flame towards the door(to protect the inside I guess)...Really far out.... Like if the wind be blowing on it...And I can see some cracks on the side...Does this mean I call for a new Heat Exchanger or something...

Please support ... I don't want my house to burn down...

Answers:    Yes, if you see daylight from the inside or, flames from the outside , it's a good indication your bake exchanger is in entail of attention. Call your heating contractor to check it out for sure.

If you own cracks in the furnace , DO NOT USE, as this could nurture gas fumes into your home . have it checked by gas company.
