The water coming from individual one faucet in the home have a "rotten egg" smell. The smell has last for more than one month.
The sulfur surrounded by the water make it smell like egg, it also stains the toilet bowl brown. Florida have a lot of sulfer within the water.

That smell is usually caused by any a rusty pipe but more commonly from bacteria growing within the pipes. Unusual to be only one pipe though.

Are you sure it is not coming from the drain below the faucet? Tip some Bicarbonate of Soda or cooking soda down the drain followed by some boiling hose to make sure.

If it is the pipe you will own to chase the pipe as far as you can see it and try to establish what is going on.

Take a sample of the hose to your local council and they should be able to win it checked to find out what the smell is before you start pulling down walls.

Best of luck
Answers:    I'm betting the faucet is on a sink with an overflow, such as a bathroom sink. The faucet isn't the problem. Engage the stopper and pour within a cup of bleach. Slowly (to avoid splashing) fill the sink near water and consent to it go through the overflow. When the smell of bleach is gone, disengage the stopper and run more dampen. If this is the problem, bacteria have grown in the space between the sink walls and this process will fix it. The pretext for the smell is when you run water, nouns is pushed up through the space and this is where you attain the smell from.
