What genus of growth is this underneath my toilet? I know very little give or take a few molds and fungi,...
I know very little give or take a few molds and fungi, and I've noticed that my toilet have been leak water for pretty some time. There was somewhat bit of brown growth under the toilet, I'm guessing it's some nice of fungus. I thought I fixed the leak, but it open up again and now the growth have gone out from under the toilet onto the tile surface. Could anyone identify what this is and conceivably how to get rid of it? And if in that is any possible health risk?
Answers: Could be discharge from under the toilet itself, and it could be dampen that was flushed from the toilet. There is also a coincidence it could have mischief to the subfloor.
Did someone replace the seal underneath the toilet? does it rock?
I'd recommend using a cleaner using chlorine bleach. In a solution, not straight. Don't mix beside an ammonia-based cleanser, don't get it on your hand, and clean it past its sell-by date well or the chlorine will hang on to eating at stuff.
.probably a fungus. most promising the wax ring is leaking.you will hold to take up the toilet to replace this. This wants to be fixed because it will potentially damage your floor, here is a relationship that you could check out http://www.hammerzone.com/archives/bath/...
