I bought it on procession from a distributor of theirs. The stuff foams and clings to 100% of the waste flash, i.e. top, bottom, and sides. I put this stuff into the clean out contained by the basement floor. Once a year does it. And it does slaughter the roots. A lot of plumbers carry this stuff contained by their service vehicles and apply it after rodding the idle away line. It ain't cheap but it does work.
sewer lines hold to be installed according to local building codes,you cant just front them anywhere,if a tree is in the path,the tree goes.
