The screws that go through the shutters move about into holes drilled in brick, but over the years have gotten so loose they purely fall out. It seems resembling there should be some adhesive that I can basically put in the holes and stick the screws contained by, but I would like the name of something specific past I head for the store - can you help?

I own seen people use wood dowels. Cut a plug the size of the hole, and pound it contained by. Use a new screw. That way you can remove them for drawing or maintenance.
