What are my option (if any) to relief contained by cooling my bedroom? I just graduate so now I'm moving subsidise home for awhile...
I just graduate so now I'm moving subsidise home for awhile and I absolutely revulsion the heat of summer. My parents hold central nouns but pretty much refuse to use it. My room inopportunely has one andersen porthole and one awning window next to cranks so therefore I can't take a window a/c part. I'm not sure that I can do a portable unit any... there is one rectangular heat and cooling register on my floor and then other square register on an upper wall (sorry if those aren't the correct terms) but I consider you need those for hoses to connect a portable one... anyway cost is not really an issue... I'm feeling like to pay of late about anything but not enjoy to do any difficult installing practices. Any ideas/suggestions I would really appreciate! Thanks so much!
First, you need to gain some room darkening fanlight treatments that will prevent the heat from coming through. This will hold the room much cooler. Then invest in a ceiling hanger-on or a stand up fan for your room.
1. Get an supplementary remote thermostat installed on the central nouns.
2. Run a de-humdifier in the room. It'll lower the humidity by adjectives the air ratification through it, causing moisture to condense.
3. Move out (or threaten to)
4. Sleep within the basement. (cover the window to keep wispy / heat out)
5. Cover window with tin foil (shiny side out).
6. Work long hours somewhere beside central nouns.

Answers: You can purchase a window section air conditioner from the Target. Make sure that you calculate the window first to clear sure that it will fit. Also, you don't need a hose. I estimate that you are thinking of a swamp cooler. An a/c works much better. Also, don't be surprized if your parents nix the a/c idea since it still uses alot of electricity and to be exact probably what they are concerned about since they don't want to run the inside air which would be more simplified. You may want to work out a deal next to them to help discharge the electric bill. Also, there are other fans.
