Well Pit is overflowing.? My well pump have quit, so my fiance installed a new one....

My well pump have quit, so my fiance installed a new one. Now, I can achieve water into the house, but after in the order of 45 minutes the well pit is flooded and it kill the well pump. ANY concept why it is flooding?
My tub spout shoots rotten from the wall...
Answers:    If it started flooding after he replaced the pump, there's probably a leak somewhere. He cracked a pipe, or didn't use pipe dope or teflon cassette on some of the threads, maybe. When the pit is forsaken, run the pump until you can see where the dampen is coming from, and fix it.
