I am at my witts end beside our wall heater. Even if I see the thermostat up to 90, nothing will start. Nothing. However, if I hit the damn thing it will turn on, for in the order of 5 minutes, then turn bad again.

We had this issue ultimate winter too. Not wanting to freeze again, we had someone come out and fix it, or so we thought. One pilot street light generator, one month and $280 later, we are wager on to square one. :)

Annnnd, from what I have found, we be completely ripped off for the pilot generator.

Im cold and cranky. Please, any info on what is going would be great! (we've already tried a current thermostat, too)

Answers:    loose wire some where on earth, if you have to hit the furnace look in that portion, around where the thremostat wires come within,
