its not cooling our house. We set it to 75 but the temp. hasnt got below 85 surrounded by the house. We checked the outside unit and the devotee is not turning so we just turned the a/c stale. We havent moved in however, I would like to capture this fixed first. Previous owner says its up to date. Does anyone know what could be wrong? and how pricey it may be to fix?
If the unit is legally new, afterwards possibly the warranty is still in affect. You may enjoy to ask the previous owner to call the company. Did you buy from a real estate agent? Or an individual trader?
Was there a home inspection? If so, and the AC be checked off as "Working" or something similar, next I would think the previous owner might hold some responsibility in repairing the component.
If it is new, as the previous owner claims, ask for paperwork. It should still be below warranty, and the warranty may transfer to you, the current owner. The warranty may cover only the compressor. You'd own to read the particulars.
Still, it could be something impressively minor and simple. I'd check out all the option and try to determine who should be responsible. You say you haven't moved contained by yet, so the mart must be very recent. Also, do you enjoy a home warranty? What does it cover?

Answers: Did your house inspection (please tell me you get one) reveal this? Ideally you should have made this the prior owner's problem formerly closing. Hopefully there's a simple explanation or fix ...sorry but I don't know one. I would hate to reflect on the prior owner got over on you, though...mine did, by covering up river leaks beside paint and not disclosing...
