i live in a block of flats, where on earth at least 80% of it is ocuppied by muslims, and i know what you plan about the smells ;>>
they usually burn exceedingly strong insence, which choke me instead of giving a nice smell... you can't really figure them out, they're moderately eccentric if you ask me lol.
As the other poster said , they use a LOT of strong spices that you can smell when they cook and honestly I think it truly comes out in sweat .
I used to enjoy muslims for neighbors myself , and had a sturdy time getting used to some of the odd customs . They would be outside at 11pm grilling stuff , stunk to high glory . These people weren't the cleanest any , but I know that was a moment ago *them* , nothing to do next to their heritage .
Answers: Dont suspect anything wrong about them. You in recent times dont understand their culture or what they drink.
