If we let the frail flooring dry, will it seep through it to the unmarked flooring the next time it get humid or is the humidy coming from under the weak flooring?
Answers:    First thing to do is to find the problem of the damp area and fix it first. If you do not fix the wetness problem it will always be here and cause adjectives problems. If it is not possible to achieve under the house cut out a small inspection hole. Moisture useally comes from a leak pipe, storm water running underneath the building and not getting away and or the flooring too close to the ground. Also suggests lack of airing. Once the problem has be rectified and you are all set to put the new laminated floor within it is suggested that you cover the floor with a strapping duty plastic first and taped around the edges and join this will stop rising damp and cold from affecting the trial floor
If your flooring is damp and you don't know why here could potentially be some serious issues going on under nearby. My suggestion is to remove the old flooring beforehand you install the laminate, find the problem if there is one and fix it. If you don't you run the risk of your pretty laminate climax up with swollen seam all over.
