We have no other place to put the bed...the vent is on the floor right at the wall where on earth the head of the bed is. I saw an hoarding for an extender, but that only go three feet from the front of the vent. Is in attendance any way to re-direct it out to any side of the bed?
construct yourself one. It would be as easy as getting a tube as long as your bed is widespread. Cut a slot in center of the tube equal size as the vent. set the tube over the vent and the air should blow out on both sides of your bed.

jammy ... check some sites, such as Home Improvements or Sky Mall (I can't remember where I saw this). But they hold a product made just for that fundamentally problem. It fits over the vent and has an extension to bring the upper air out from under the bed.

this is similar to what I be thinking about
Answers:    You can purchase a plastic deflector that sits right on top of the vent. These typically direct the air flow forward away from the wall though, which method it would be directing the air down all along your bed.

I would build one myself, in your situation.
You could use styrofoam insulating board, or plywood. Just create a "U" shaped gutter. I'd make it roughly speaking 3 inches high, by 4 inches general, and whatever length you have need of to reach the threshold of the bed. You could let it direct nouns to both sides of the bed, or just one side or the other.
You could use something bulkier, approaching 2x4 's, and a 2x6, but its not necessary. 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch plywood would work lately fine, or as I said, styrofoam insulating board.

Ive done similar 'deflectors' when I had to place furniture over a vent.
