The shower was accidentally not here running for multiple hours and now here are streaks on the wall from water/steam damage. What would be the process surrounded by order to fix this? Is it lately the paint?
Answers:    First, dry the area out. A small disciple running with the door unstop for a day should do it. Then, inspect the walls themselves. If you hold streaks, that is fine,,,if it is bulging, sea is inside the walls. If you have drywall (sheetrock), those section will have to be replaced. If it is an elder home with lathe/plaster, it also requests repair, but it will be harder to do (more knowledge needed for that). Once adjectives the above is done, use KILZ II primer to really seal the walls and later paint the bathroom.
#1 Get the room as dry as you can. (a fan gone on for a day or so.
#2 If you see swelling anywhere nearby is painted walls, you have moisture that have gotten behind the paint.
#3 If at hand is no swelling, you should be able to repaint the effect (affected?) areas.
#4 if there is swelling, you might own to replace the drywall.
#5 hope that it is drywall, caude if it ain't ya gonna have a LOT of work to do.
