My drainage/waterspout thing is totally frozen solid. I'm worried that it may crash. Is there any bearing to thaw it?
The best path is to get some hot dampen and pour it down the spout. One reason that it might be frozen is because of leaves and/or other obstruction. If this is a common problem and at hand are no clogs, your next step might be to step to a hardware or home improvement store and buy what they ring up "heat tape". It can be run on the roof and also down the gutter. It is fundamentally safe as long as you follow the instructions. Ask the clerk at the store almost it and I think that you will ponder that this is a great idea. Good Luck and I hope that this help!!!

Is your water shut rotten to the valve?
Thawing can be achieve by slowly pouring boiling water on the spout, a propane torch, a hair dryer (will embezzle a while).

SO--make sure water is turned bad, thaw to catch valve unequivocal & walk away until spring.
Answers:    do you own a hair dryer? Keep it away from the hose down, but get an extension cord (if the cord doesnt fit) and a quill dryer, and try to thaw it that instrument. Mine has come surrounded by hand for my waterspouts contained by my backyard and such. Good Luck!
