The storms have moved out a mess in underground store and it is still wet. I am trying to find a product approaching plaster, cement or caulking to fill hole the size of a tomatoe, where on earth waters gushes in through cement block wall. Please aid. Thank You
Not that I'm aware of. Block it with plastic or wood till it stops. tolerate it dry, then patch it.
Then carry someone to waterproof your crypt.
Hydraulic cement is made for exactly that. It will steep a weeping hole or a gushing one. I think it is something like $12 for a pint can. All the hardware places have it.
You press it into an orifice in the wall and it expands to imbue the hole tightly.
Answers: You can try hydraulic cement. Most will cure when wet, but if the wet is gushing in, it may hose away anything you put in the hole.
