Water within my apartment turned brown? Ive been living here for 3 months & once a month...
Ive been living here for 3 months & once a month the apartment wet turns brown. YUCK! it was built it 1978.
I call them the 1st time they said they will look into it. After 30-60 min the water be clear again. I called in recent times now since they sink marine turned brown & they said they will see wat the problem is.
Whats in the marine?!? poop & pee? is it sewer water?
it turned brown while i be washing dishes & it get all over the dishes. Do i gain rid of the dishes?! its the good dishes we use. thats disgusting that brown dampen got adjectives over it.
Answers: Sounds more like a rust problem than anything else.
If this is stirring every month, then it sounds approaching the city, is probably doing a flush somewhere 'upline' from you. It might be coming from the apartment complex pipes too.
Hot water heaters can sometimes develop rust problems but they dont usually clear up after an hour, simply to do it again in a month. But, lately to rule it out, you need to see if the rust is coming from freshly the hot water vein, or both the cold and hot water lines.
If the rust is coming surrounded by from the supply systems (most likely), it WILL eventually affect the apartment complexes hot water tank... so it is in their best interest to find and destroy this problem as soon as possible.
If rust is a continuous problem, then nearby are filters and wet treatment options to help out remove it, before it hits hose down tanks, wahing machines, and faucets, etc.
I would draw from a sample surrounded by a bottle, or jar, for reference. Show it to the apartment command.they may want to send it stale for testing.
Test kit can often be picked up at your local county strength department (around $10), or you can find a similar kit at some building supply stores, resembling Lowe's which you would mail bad to an independent lab.
Another cause for 'brown water' if you are on a municipal system, would be when they enjoy to repair the system. An occasional break in a column will let dirt into the system, for example. They usually issue "boil order" alerts when this happen tho.
If your water is supplied by a private capably, then the all right casing may enjoy had a break surrounded by it, but again, this tends to clear the water dirty ALL the time, as challenging just once a month.

He works, with the river company, and water purification system, I a moment ago called him and told him , in the region of your problem in your apartment, and he said, the pipe on your hot river, tank, is rushted, , and the stripe below, maybe some of those pipes are also rushted, so he said, that your portable drinking wet is not safe, , and that,includes the dampen, in your kitchen, bath-rooms, wash machine, and your out-side dampen. so he says to beckon the city, and report it to them, because the owner has to know, that this is going on, and not doing any entity about it, And if the problem is not fix, this is going to step on for ever, He said to take a example with you(water),and walk talk to the nation from , the water maintain system .. So they will check, the drainage, the venting. and the sewage. In the plan while, do not drink, any water from your apartment, , nor bring any bath next to that water, nor brush your teeth, nor do your dishes, nor bath your clothes, with that hose, until the City-Inspectors come over to check, it.
