Water release on Kenmore model 110? How do I get my washing electrical device to release the water...

How do I get my washing electrical device to release the water if the spin cycle is not working? The dampen if turning black and I want to get it out of the machine until I can procure a repairman to fix it.
under your lid there is a switch use no-conductive express doubts to push in the hole turn the washer to spin. replace switch or re glue switch vertebrae on Use a wet-dry vacuum connected to the drain hose.

purely for the fun of it, move the dial to the next WASH CYCLE
to wit if it's on the regular 16 minute wash cycle, move the dial to the 10 minute clean up cycle and see if it does anything on that cycle. start at the beginning of the 10 minute wash cycle.
the removing the hose from the drain and lowering it to a bucket (will bear many buckets) will get the sea out of there, however be aware that at some point in the lowering of the hose the marine is going to come out so have someone holding a bucket at the hose end so you can lock in the water as soon as it starts coming out. it's mearly gravity doing it's job
right luck to ya.
Answers:    You can take the end of the drain hose out of the drain and lower it contained by to a bucket and the water should drain out.

Thank you for trying but "110" only tell us it is Whirlpool made. For more exact questions in the adjectives you will want to give the whole numbers, adjectives the digits that follow on that model number line. Like 110.9999999.

And if I were you I would look at the lid switch back trying to drain it manually. I am talking about the hole surrounded by the front or back right of the opening on a top loader where on earth the prong on the lid engages the switch.

Sometimes you can take something small, resembling a paperclip wire and push on the lid switch lever and make it work even if it is to a degree broken and not normally engaging and thus label it drain (the timer must be on and in drain or spin). That way you can drain it.

The lid switch is a sanctuary so it is not advised to run it by defeating the switch. Be well thought-out.

Those lid switches did have a problem of breaking in olden times and is a likely your cause of no spin or drain.

Good Luck
