So we flushed our 1st floor toilet this morning and water started coming up from underneath the toilet. So in a flash, that in a event of minutes our whole corridor and kitchen floors were covered near water. Then within our basement hose down was leak from pipes. Did something burst?

I live in the midwest and it have been super cold lately. Our house is brand clean...
Answers:    Well my first question would be did you obtain an inspection when you bought your new house? If you didn't and they didn't wrap your pipes later, more than likely your pipes burst and i.e. why your house is flooded. Trust me we just bought a brand investigational house and had an inspection who found pipes not wrapped, and heat ducts hanging below the house not secured properly, so just because it's a brand trial home means that they didn't do a crappy employment building it. Call out a plumber to find out what happened and fix the issue, construct sure that you have your husband wrap adjectives of your pipes, so this doesn't happen again. Good luck
Sounds resembling a bad wax ring. It seal the toilet to the plumbing.
