I know this has be asked quite a few times. The usual answers are 1. check the condensate pump and 2. your furnace is so simplified that condensation backs up. I thought I have a condensate pump problem so I installed a new one. I still own the same problem. I checked adjectives the pipes and there are no leak anywhere. I opened the service panel and no water anywhere any. The water is definitelly coming from underneath. So this emilinates leaky pipes or unpromising condensate pump. I am left beside item number 2. which I have no perception how to tackle. I am posting this sound out before I ring up an HVAC guy tomorrow. Maybe I overlooked something?
Answers: your condensate trap may be plugged up and overflowing inside the furnace. Open the cover and there will be hoses connected to the combustion blower. The hoses connect to some variety of trap. a small metal or plastic box or can.. then the hose down is directed to the drain or a condensate pump.
Take the lines apart and blow into them.. make sure they are clear. the trap should be verbs as well. If near is alot of buildup... brown sludgy looking stuff.. it is likely specifically the problem. If that isnt it you could have a ruptured boil exchanger and your gonna need a HVAC guy to fix that for ya.
Do you enjoy a humidifier attached the the furnace? maybe to be precise leaking within the duct?
is it possible it's really coming from Hot water heating system ? and just trickling below the furnace for you to see ?
