Today it was really raining out. I enjoy the kinda air conditioner that go into the window. Water started similar to pouring in through the front of the upper air conditioner for like 5 second or so than it stopped cos the rain go down. If I plug the air conditioner pay for in and turn it on will it spark?
it shouldnt because the wet came surrounded by through between the ac. unit and the pane frame . you should probably check the seal here for possible leaks contained by the future.
time out.. wet shouldn't pour in from from the windowpane unit. when a glass unit is put within the right way it will enjoy a slight lean to it (the back ending sits lower than the front end).
this is so water doesn't run into your house.
ever notice how a window part will drip water, look at how the frame is made.. it's a vessel with a blub hole in the rear.
the vents on the side and rear legs will take diligence of any over flow the drain hole cant handle surrounded by case of weighty rain.
Answers: I own the same problem when we own a hard rainfall. I never turn my unit past its sell-by date when the water is pouring out. I merely put a towel on the floor under the component to catch the hose. It should not spark .Just make sure your hand & feet are dry.
