Hi,
We have a Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 washer\dryer which be working fine over the weekend but today made strange noises after when it had finished we open the door and it was still full of hose (whcih is mostly on the kitchen floor now!)

What do we do it's the first time we've have a problem with it & it't more or less 5 years old. Is nearby anything I can check myself or do we need to christen someone out?

Answers:    It could be that the out pipe is clogged next to limescale, debris and grease. The other place to check is the filter, usually to be found bottom disappeared behind a flap.
I hold a problem beside a "cold room"...
Check the belt! We've have to replace our belts a couple times when that happened.
