Washer won't spin? I know it's not the door switch because when I push it...
I know it's not the door switch because when I push it down on spin cycle it makes a humming nouns like it's trying to spin. I tilted it pay for the other day and manually moved the belt surrounded by both directions and it started working. It made like a grinding nouns at first, but once it got up to speed it quit. It consequently ran for more or less 3 loads without any problems and next stopped again after a slightly heavy nouns. So I tried to spin the belt again and it started spinning again, but this time the noise never go away. Plus, it stopped again after about a minute near nothing inside it. When it stops it smells concerned of like adjectives rubber and the washer will trip for a little while. I hold to wait almost 15 minutes before it will reset. I'm hoping it's in recent times the belt, but I'm open to suggestions.
Answers: the solution is the pulley that the belt is attached to is desperate,. There is 4 bolts around the pulley just nick these bolts off and wave to and fro the pulley the gear on the inside that,s froze up causing the picnic basket from spinning Will come out.
just rebuild clutch parts in my beltless check the users almanac for a schematic, follow it to see what makes the washer spin, most plausible your problem.
