there is something wrong next to it it doesnt work well. the warranty run out and i called the company and they told me that they can simply repair if it was used for over a year, they didn't recommend me any place of repair.

Answers:    I used to work for Brita - I would suggest buying a new one. They are not designed to work forever, and they are commonly updating the models so go treat yourself.
To give a hand make them closing as long as possible, wash them frequentley.
PS Don't buy the kettle - they are so complicated that not a soul will ever be able to get you a cup of tea as you always hold to show them how the kettle works!
