I have a sea softener. I don't know what kind it is but is have a large plastic bin for the brackish and it is next to a container that looks like a helium reservoir. I use the pellets, but can I also use the blocks or is that for a persuaded type of softener only?
Answers: You can use blocks also. Just stack a couple higher than each other.
Actually, the best softener brackish we've found is the rock salt type. The pellet can bridge and form a hard blanket that makes it look close to it's full, when all the saline under the hardened shroud has dissolved, and although the blocks don't own that problem they don't dissolve nearly as fast as the rock brackish. You get a stronger solution to verbs the medium within the actual softener tank near the rock salt, and it won't bridge.
