I need to buy a tub wall apparatus. What are the differences between these? Less work the better!
Answers: I've put up many of these things and within my opinion, one piece surrounds should just be used when you're building the cavity for the tub/shower from scratch. They are made to fit a sort of precise opening and if your finished walls are more than, right to be heard, 1/4" different in length than the dimension of the surround, it's not going to fit properly and will any just look horrible or overrun and not work at all. Of course, once you buy it and try to put it surrounded by, it becomes unreturnable and you own it. The three piece unit are simple to install and somewhat adjustable for length and depth. Just use plenty of adhesive and own a good smooth surface prepared to mount it on.
Yes. The smaller amount work the better. Problem is 1 piece fit well if your surround nouns is perfectly rank. If not get a 3 piece.
