there is marine in it and its not clogged and looks mundane, but when you try to press the thing to flush, it doesnt flush. the knob goes straight down in need any of that resistance when it normally flushes
Answers: The swarm valve (ballcock valve) is stuck. The float arm that puts pressure on the rubber gasket and form to allow or stop the water is stuck. Try to manulay move the brass rod that the float is attached too. If you push down it should pop lose and aloow river into the tank. If it doesn't work, than you enjoy ablockage somewhere in the stripe. In either overnight case, the fill stopcock will probably need to be changed.
in that is a part loose contained by the tank somewhere. a secure is normally connected from the lever you push to what operate the cover that open the drain to flush. If you take the lid stale of the back of the toilet and check it, you might know how to reconnect the chain (chances are its rusted past its sell-by date but its an easy fix). Just valet your hands when youre done and you'll be fine, within isnt anything dirty back within, just sea. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
